Consciousness

The central golden circle represents the self. Its scale reflects the degree of self centeredness - expanding with ego, contraction, and personal desire. In truth, no one exists entirely free from this state, even if only for a moment. This condition is not fixed, but part of an ongoing journey. Through reflection, awareness, and growth, the self begins to shift. As one moves beyond the initial learning curve, the golden circle evolves in meaning, it no longer signifies mere self importance, but inner development. In its transformed state, the gold becomes reflective, like a mirror. It captures not only the self, but the process of becoming, quietly revealing growth, depth, and the results of introspection.

Subconsciousness

Beneath awareness lies a shifting landscape where thoughts, memories, instincts, and emotions exist without structure or explanation. It is a place of fragments rather than conclusions, where experiences dissolve, overlap, and reform beyond the reach of deliberate control. The layered textures and gestural movements reflect this unseen terrain. Forms emerge and disappear, resisting clear definition, much like memories that surface only in pieces. The vibrant currents of colour represent emotional energy in its rawest state, unfiltered, unresolved, and continuously evolving. Within this space, there is no singular centre. Instead, multiple forces coexist, colliding and intertwining to shape perception long before it reaches conscious understanding. The subconscious does not seek clarity; it speaks through sensation, intuition, and impulse. Though often hidden, it remains the foundation of the self. It is the silent origin of reflection, creativity, and transformation, the place where becoming begins before it can be recognised, named, or understood.

Life, Unscripted

This body of work explores the poetry of everyday life through observations of urban spaces, familiar objects, and passing moments. Working primarily in watercolor on paper, I am drawn to the subtle interactions between people, places, and things that often go unnoticed within daily routines. Using fluid washes, expressive linework, and layered textures, I interpret scenes and objects not as exact representations, but as reflections of atmosphere, memory, and experience. Public spaces, architectural forms, still objects, and transient encounters become interconnected elements within a visual narrative, revealing the beauty and complexity found in ordinary moments. The spontaneity of watercolor allows each work to balance structure and unpredictability, capturing both physical details and emotional impressions. Through this process, the familiar is transformed into a space for reflection, inviting viewers to reconsider the overlooked aspects of everyday life and the quiet stories embedded within them.
